R.I.P. Cocoa Oct. 25, 2001 – June 19, 2016
When you’re an old dog whose owner has passed away, life can be pretty scary.
Cocoa is a sweet, mellow 14-year-old chocolate Lab who found herself with no place to go.
We have this gentle soul in foster care right now, but Cocoa would love to land in a Forever Home and never unpack her bags again.
She recently had a thorough vet check-up and is in excellent health, although arthritis makes it difficult for her to go up and down steps. She has never been around other dogs or cats before, so at this point in life, she’s probably better off being an only dog.
