Cocoa

cocoa jr 049

Cocoa has been adopted by her fosters!

Here’s her story …

She’s a seven-year-old pit mix who has lived in a home all her life. For four years, Cocoa’s pet parent was always at her side, taking Cocoa everywhere with him – even to work – and they were best friends.

But then he passed away, and Cocoa went to live with a family where she showed how beautifully she gets along with little children. Now this family is experiencing financial difficulties, and they have to move to a place that doesn’t allow dogs. So once again, Cocoa has found herself without a home.

Cocoa is very dog friendly (two German Shepherds were her best friends!), although no cats, please.

She’s a laid back kind of girl and while she may not look it, we think there’s some hound in her because on walks her nose is always glued to the ground! She does need some work on her leash skills but knows sit and how to give paw.
